The New World Order state of na Nuják is not one of the original five NWO states, but joined soon after under a Globalist government seeking to cement its rule and make an alliance with Cascadia to squeeze Chicago. The name in Common predates statehood as the way writers referred to the city right form the middle period. The state was centred in New York City at the time.

Today the state's largest and most important city is the capital, na Alpani. Increasingly, Nuják's aging seawalls have failed to prevent the city from being periodically inundated, leading it to be slowly abandoned. It is still inhabited by the poor and fugitives, and a popular destination for heavily protected tour groups. Nuják overall is the third most populous and fourth wealthiest state in North America.

The state of na Nuják comprises all of the old American states of New England and New York, the southwestern part of the old Canadian province of New Brunswick, most of Pennsylvania and Virginia, and small parts of other states. It has suffered greatly from damage to its coastal cities, but its agriculture is robust and it is a major industrial powerhouse.
