Description:

The New World Order state of na Kanata, or Canada in English, occupies an immense territory in north-central North America. From its capital in na Winipek, it encompasses all of the territories north of the old Canada-US border and west of the Quebec border. It is bounded on the west by na Kaskétija, which controls all of the old province of British Columbia except for a northeastern corner which remained with Canada. Most of the old Yukon Territory is also part of na Kaskétija, although the rest of the Arctic territories are part of Canada.

Canada was a nuclear power at the time it started to collapse, and some of its nuclear weapons ended up in the hands of Quebec and Cascadia, but it retained its own significant nuclear arsental. Canada was a relatively early joiner of the NWO, however, although not a founding state. It joined essentially as a result of subversion, as a Globalist government took power in the severely eroded but still effective democracy. The potential to stave off further Cascadian territorial incursions and to put the squeeze to Chicago were also deciding factors.

Na Kanata today is a vibrant and powerful state, having the second largest population in North America and the second largest economy as well. It escaped a signifciant amount of the violence and chaos that gripped the United States, despite having significant problems of its own that led to the split of Cascadia and Quebec and the loss of communication with the Atlantic provinces. Global warming drastically increased its growing seasons and agricultural output, and the already very diverse population proved readily adaptable to accelerated immigration under the NWO, assimilating newcomers with relative ease.

English is still widely spoken in some rural areas, although newly opened farmlands are mainly tended by immigrants, with manual labour coming from armies of indentured labourers. Common is easily the dominant language in Canada.
