Description:

The modifier 'zra' has the core meaning of 'true' and extends to meanings of real or good as well as statements of factual correctness. It also has a tight binding modifier form 'zrano' to apply to a specific modifier instead of the to head term. 'Zra' can be used as a modifier when referencing a public official such as a judge or politician, in which case it has a sense of 'honourable' and is used as a honourific.

The general adverbial sense is 'true' or 'well'.

The term form 'zran', used as a noun, mean the truth, or truth in general, goodness, or in a broader sense, refers to reality.

'Zran' is also commonly used as a verb. As such it is a semitransitive nojax verb meaning to tell the truth or to treat correctly or fairly. It takes an absolutive subject which is the teller or doer and a dative indirect object which is the person addressed or treated with.

The disntentive pali form takes just an absolutive subject which is true or good or well, and can be used to comment that the subject is good or honourable but also that they are well in general.

Zra can also be used in a prefix form zra-, which can be used to derive words for good or true versions of the term it applies to.

Compare to 'was', attached, meaning 'false'.
