Description:
The term 'star' was borrowed from English in the late early period and means 'star of the show' - essentially, a famous person or lead actor, or a metaphorically comparable person, or a person who has the qualities of such a person. It does not carry any astronomical baggage in Common, a literal star is referred to as 'sinéon.
As a verb, star is a semitransitive noxaj verb which takes an absolutive subject which is the star, and an optional dative indirect object which is a thing starred in. A prepositional phrase is not generally used to indicate a thing starred in as it would be in English.
