Description:
The interjection 'fok' is borrowed from the English word 'fuck' right from the early period. It is generally analyzed as a noun and rendered 'na fok', but it is also used its modifier form 'fokys' as a general condemnation of its referent. It might also come out as just 'fok', without a determiner.
'Fok' is a much milder word in Common than the original word is in English. It isn't understood as a sexual term in Common in the same way it is in English, and is not used as a plain verb as it is in English. Instead, as a verb, it is a skurun verb meaning something like 'to curese something', with an ergative subject that is the curser and an absolutive object that is the thing cursed. The subject of often omitted.
