An age term for people is derived form 'sinku'. The derived form 'sinkun', from 'sinku', 'little' and -(y)n, literally 'little one', is the word generally used for very small children too young to go to school or be put to work. 'Sinku' is also used as a prefix on the word 'ife', 'son or daughter', to derive the word for 'grandchild', 'sinkuife'.
