The term 'luh' refers to a wolf. It comes form Old Common and appears to have some intentional resemblance to 'paluh', 'dog'. The derived form 'luhatuin' was coined to translate the work 'werewolf' from fantasy fiction, and became by extension used as a word for some terrifically violent person.
