Description:

The term 'snyk' refers to comfort and is thought to come from the Engish word 'snug' - it is not an Old Common word. Old Common used the word 'jal' for the sense of rest or comfort as well as staying at  aplace or being physically at rest. 'Snyk' entered Common oriignally as a slang term, it is uncleat when but appears to have been early, and eventually became an established word.

As a noun, 'snyk' refers to physical comfort and can also imply fit, as in good phsyical fit. The verbal sense of 'comfort' can be conveted as below, or else as using 'snyk' as a noun with the verb 'happat', as in, to give comfort.

With more than one subject joined by 'epis', or a paucal or plural subject, it can have the sense of 'cuddle', and can be a highly euphemised and cutesy way to talk about having sex. It may be more often used in its skurun causative form, where it means to comfort or settle someone or something.
